Who We Are

Critical Takes on Corporate Power is a non-profit platform for people from civil society around the world who see the power of multinational corporations as a serious problem for justice, democracy and nature.
You might be a campaigner, activist or organiser, a trade unionist, a researcher at a university or think tank, a progressive journalist or just someone who cares about economic justice. Critical Takes will be a place to find out what like-minded people are thinking and doing about corporate power and add your own thoughts to the conversation.
You can read the takes on this website, sign up to the newsletter, follow Critical Takes on social media, take part in online events and leave comments on the site. You can also write for Critical Takes.
Critical Takes is not an advocacy or campaigning organisation. The aim is to be a useful resource for campaigners and reformers, and to promote ambitious thinking and inclusive debate across worldwide civil society about how to transform corporate power to make it more just and democratic.
The Editor of Critical Takes is Diarmid O’Sullivan, a researcher and reporter based in London who runs the platform on a voluntary basis. To learn more, please view the FAQs page.
